Our society is hesitant to provide aid to animals, despite their suffering by our own hands (and mouths). Their dead and dying bodies hang during their final moments. This is the end of a life of cruelty and torture on a factory farm; they suffer because of the human appetite for their flesh.
Originally a symbol representing the moral inseparability of the product from its process, it was dedicated to the Swiss initiative to ban factory farming.
